Mohamed Ali
 Mohamed Ali is an important person in the history of Egypt.Mohamed Ali was born in 1769 in Albania.His father died when he was a boy and he became a soldier for Turkey. He arrived in Egypt with Turkish soldiers in 1798. Mohamed Ali was a very great soldier and seven  years later he became leader of Egypt, in 1805.Mohamed Ali lived at a time of great change  for the people of Egypt. He built lots of new buildings between 1815 and 1830, such as the Alsun School and the famous Mosque of Mohamed Ali. He also started schools for doctors and he brought new ideas and books to Egypt

   Ramses lived 3300 years ago. He was king of Egypt for 66 years. He was called Ramses the Great. We don’t know when and where he was born. He became king in 1279 BC. He married queen Nefertari and had lots of children. He built many temples. Abu Simbel is the most important temple, which he built. He died in1213 BC. There are many enormous statues of Ramses in Egypt.
