يتكون المبني للمجهول من:
Object +verb to be +p.p
Ex: Ahmed plays football.
-- Football is played
ويتغير verb to be حسب زمن الجملة
(am-is-are) زمن المضارع - was –were زمن الماضي
- will be زمن المستقبل
Ex: The door is made of wood
The pyramids were built
-The lesson will be written.
1- is/are used to + المصدر يستخدم ل
Ex: The keyboard is used to type words.
The mouse is used to send commands to the computer
The printer is used to put words on paper.
- The modem is used to send e-mails.
- The monitor is used to show pictures.
2- is/ are used for+ v.ing يستخدم ل
Ex: The computer is used for controlling electronic information
1- Petrol is used for cars
2- Diesel is used for buses-trains-ships
3- Kerosene is used for planes
- made of مصنوع من (لم تتغير طبيعته) - made fromمصنوع من شئ تتغير طبيعته
** must يجب أن (مؤكد) = I'm sure Ex:It must be a bird ,it has wings.
** mayربما = I'm not sure Ex: She may come to the party.
** can't لايمكن Ex: Hayam can't be at school, she is very ill.
** Too صفة to + المصدر جدا لدرجة أن لا
Soصفة that + فاعل + فعل + مفعول

Ex: The question is so difficult that I can't answer it
= The question is too difficult to answer .
Adverbs: الظروف
الظرف هو كلمة تستخدم للدلالة على حركة الشخص (فعله)
ويتكون بإضافة ly للصفة
Ex: slow ( slowly) - quick ( quickly) - sad ( sadly)
إذا كانت الصفة تنتهي ب y نحذفها ونضيف ily وإذا كانت تنتهي ب e نحذفها ونضيف ly
Irregular cases :
1- good ( well ) 2- fast (fast ) 3- hard ( hard ) 4- late ( late ) X early
Reflexive pronouns الضمائر المنعكسة
هي ضمائر تأتي في نهاية الجملة لتدل أن الفاعل قام بالفعل بدون مساعدة
1- myselfبنفسي 2- himself بنفسه 3- herself بنفسها
4- Itself بنفسه لغير العاقل 5- yourself بنفسك 6- yourselves بأنفسكم
7- Ourselves بأنفسنا 8- themselves بأنفسهم
Ex: She did the homework by herself.
** Some important Notes:
1-look after يعتني ب 2- look for يبحث عن 3- look at ينظر إلى
3- If إذا –لو مضارع بسيط will + المصدر
** Unless إذا لم = If….not
Ex: If you study hard, you will succeed
## Unless you study hard, you won't succeed.
