The Pyramids

The Ancient Egyptians built the Pyramids at Giza 4000 years ago. They were built to bury the bodies of the kings. There are a lot of pyramids in Egypt. The Great Pyramid at Giza is about 137 metres high. It was built by King Cheops (Khufu). They used large stones to build it. Thousands of workers and slaves took part in building it. It took them 20 years to build the Great Pyramid. Now many tourists from all over the world come to see the Pyramids.

 في الماضي عندما كان يعود الجنود من المعارك وعندما لم تكن هناك خسائر بشرية, كانوا يرفعون لافتة مكتوب عليها (O.K) والتي تعني أن عدد القتلى يساوي صفر, ومن هنا جاء تعبير (O.K) والذي يعني أن كل شيء على ما يرام.

They asked the aboriginal people using body language and signs trying to ask them about this animal. They responded with "Kan Ghu Ru". The English then adopted the word kangaroo. What the aboriginal people were really trying to say was "We don’t understand you", "Kan Ghu Ru".
 عندما نزل المستعمرون الإنجليز على جزيرة أستراليا لاحظوا وجود حيوان غريب يقفز عاليا ولمسافات بعيدة، فسألوا سكان البلاد الأصليين عنه مستخدمين لغة الجسد والإشارة, فأجابوا بلغتهم "Kan Ghu Ru" ومن هنا اتخذ الإنجليز الاسم ”كانجارو“، وقد كان في الحقيقة ما أجاب به سكان أستراليا معناه : ”نحن لا نفهم ما تقولون.“

The Prophet's speech: (the Holy Hadith)
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
قال رسول الله _ صلى الله عليه وسلم:

 "Save yourselves from Hell, even if it be by giving only half a date (of a palm tree) as charity; and who does not have even that, should at least speak nicely."
"اتقوا النار ولو بشق تمرة فمن لم يجد فبكلمة طيبة"

 "Allah does not judge according to your bodies and appearances, but He scans your hearts and looks into your deeds."
"إن الله لا ينظر إلى أجسامكم ، ولا إلى صوركم، ولكن ينظر إلى قلوبكم وأعمالكم"

 "He belongs not to us (i.e. not a true Muslim) who sleeps sated while his neighbour is hungry."
"ليس منا من بات وجاره جائع"

 "When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three: recurring charity or knowledge by which people benefit, or a pious son who prays for him. (for the deceased).
"إذا مات الإنسان انقطع عنه عمله إلا من ثلاثة إلا من صدقة جارية أو علم ينتفع به أو ولد صالح يدعو له"

 "None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself."
"لا يؤمن أحدكم حتى يحب لأخيه ما يحب لنفسه"

 "He who does not memorize any part from the Qur'an he is like the ruined house."
"إن الذي ليس في جوفه شيء من القرآن كالبيت الخرب"

 "A man adopts a way of life according to that of his friend, so one should be careful about whom he chooses to be friends with."
" المرء على دين خليله فلينظر أحدكم من يخالل"

 "Actions will be judged according to the intentions (behind them), and everyone will be repaid according to what he intended."
"إنما الأعمال بالنيات ,وإنما لكل امرئ ما نوى"
 "It is manifest lying when one tells whatever he hears."
"كفى بالمرء كذباً أن يحدث بما سمع"

 "The best amongst you is the one who learns the Quran and teaches it."
"خيركم من تعلم القرآن وعلمه"

 "Give the hired worker his wages before his sweat dries."
"اعط الأجير حقه قبل أن يجف عرقه"

} وَنَسُوقُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ إِلَى جَهَنَّمَ وِرْدًا  {
"And we shall drive sinners to Hell in a thirsty state."

} وَكُلُّهُمْ آَتِيهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَرْدًا{
"And every one of them will come to Him alone on the day of Resurrection."

}  يَا وَيْلَتَى لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلانًا خَلِيلا{
"Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so and so as an intimate friend."

}  فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ  {
"So announce to them a painful torment."

}  وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ دَسَّاهَا  {
"And he fails who corrupts his own self."

}  فأنذرتكم نارا تلظى  {
"Therefore I have warned you of a blazing fire."

} وَأَنهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مَا لا يَفْعَلُونَ{َ
"And they say what they don't do."

}مَا يَلْفِظُ مِنْ قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ {ٌ ‏

"Not a word does he utter but there is a watcher by him ready to record it"

}فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ {ٌ ‏

"How terrible was My torment and My warnings."

}أَيَحْسَبُ الْإِنْسَانُ أَنْ يُتْرَكَ سُدًىِ {ٌ ‏
"Does man think that he will be left neglected."
