"I think that they were sitting at that table. They were talking. You remember what you told me about Lander? - Leila said this to Dr Hafez.
"But the skull could have been broken by falling rocks, couldn't it?"

“If we can find a gold mask, then we would be sure it was a king.”

“But I saw her in Quenco talking to him. She told me it was Lander.”
- Leila said this to Dr Hafez.
"I was so angry when Dr Hafez put you in charge of the excavating team. And when you discovered the gold mask, I couldn’t stand it any more.” - Amalia said this to Leila at the police station.
“I found the little gold rabbit. I didn’t tell anybody. I kept it a secret. I put it among your work clothes to get you into trouble. I didn't think that they would put you in prison.” - Amalia said this to Leila at the police station.
“I have explained everything to the police. You’re free to go. I’ve got a car outside.” Amalia said this to Leila at the police station.
"Have you any idea who stole the gold mask?” - Leila said this to Amalia.
“When I met him in Quenco, he told me he was very keen to go to Acomayo" - Amalia said this to Leila.
“We think we know where Lander has gone.” - Amalia said this to Dr Hafez.

"We have found the gold mask and the other things Mr Lander had stolen.”
The police chief said this to Dr Hafez.
"I'd like to go back to the village on the road to Acomayo.”
- Leila said this to Dr Hafez.
"Goodness me. It looks like the pattern of stone blocks at the Chimu king's tomb. That's amazing." - Dr Hafez said this to Leila.
“But when Amalia comes out of hospital, I want her to lead the team excavating the new site." - Dr Hafez said this to Leila.

Lander said he was a mining engineer but he became more interested in artifacts.
Lander thought he wasn’t lucky enough because he didn’t find a gold mask.
Lander punished Leila for disturbing قاطعته his work in the tomb.
Lander pulled the ladder up so that Leila wouldn’t be able to get out of the cave.
Leila was so shaken that she fell to the ground and lay there for some time.
It was careless of Leila to speak to Lander about the excavation work in Peru.

Someone wanted Leila to be blamed for the theft of the gold mask.
Amalia was so angry when Dr Hafez put Leila in charge of the team she worked in.

Amalia was jealous of Leila because Leila was in charge of the team Amalia worked in.
It was out of jealousy that Amalia put the gold rabbit among Leila’s work clothes to put her in trouble.
Amalia couldn’t stand it any more when Leila discovered the gold mask.
Amalia asked Leila to forgive her تسامحها because she got her into trouble with the police.
Amalia was a woman of conscience ضمير as she couldn’t tolerate تحتمل herself seeing Leila in prison. She went to the police and confessed اعترفت the truth.
Amalia was as brave and tough as an ancient Inca.
Amalia's father had been persuaded by Martin Lander to put up some money for a new silver mine that Martin said he had found.

Amalia was put on the bed that was like the litter Leila had seen in her terrible dream in the cave.
The village women gave Amelia a hot drink and some leaves to chew.
In Acomayo, Leila tried to phone Dr Hafez but the phone cut off.
When Leila looked up the hillside, she noticed a pattern of rocks that seemed familiar.
If the gold mask was lost or stolen, the project might come to an end.
Pablo had such a hard life that he agreed to help Lander to steal the gold mask in return for a lot of money to buy expensive medicine for his sick child.
Pablo was in need of money so that he could buy medicines for his sick son.
After Pablo had met Lander, Lander drove in a small truck شاحنة to the airport.
Ramon turned off the car headlights الأنوار الأمامية so that Lander couldn’t see he was being followed.
Leila jumped into Martin’s truck so as to stop him from escaping.
Lander couldn’t escape although he got on a small plane and switched on the engine.
When the truck hit the plane, Lander hit his head against the roof of the plane and was knocked out.
Leila was brave because she helped to arrest Lander.
The UNESCO project would continue because the gold mask was restored.
Leila suggested going to the village so that she could thank the people who helped Amalia and show Dr. Hafez the new Inca site she had discovered.
Leila shook hands with the man and the woman who helped her to save Amalia.
Leila was grateful to the village people as they helped her and saved Amalia.
Leila showed Dr Hafez the formation of rocks, which looked like the pattern of stone blocks at the Chimu king’s tomb.
At Cairo airport Leila was received by her family and photographers.
The next day, Cairo newspapers were talking about the Egyptian archaeologist who had made important discoveries and caught a thief.
On the next day of Leila’s return to Cairo, the newspaper headlines were full of the story of the Egyptian archaeologist who had made important discoveries in the land of the Incas and caught the thief who stole valuable artefacts and discovered a new Inca site.
